February’s Peace Party at Senn High School was a great chance for current and former Senn Peace Ambassadors and other Senn students interested in becoming Peace Ambassadors to come together for a talking circle. Currently, we have recruited 7 new students interested in implementing Restorative Practices and Peer Conference by becoming a peace ambassador.
Youth are spreading knowledge about the Peace Ambassador program to peers and school staff. As a result, we have seen an increase in referrals from teachers who are curious about the Restorative Practices available for students who go through the discipline process.
