Students in Alternatives’ Health Club at Roosevelt High School participated in a Springfield Advocacy Day in April supporting school health centers, mental health services, and sex-ed reform. One bill that they were specifically supporting, H.B. 2675, passed shortly after the trip, establishing comprehensive sex education in public schools.
